Valhalla features a unique turn-based combat system set on a hexagonal board. Players can utilize up to three Veras in exciting 1 player vs 1 player battles, employing strategy, prediction, and their well-trained Veras to achieve victory.
Battles take place in a field of Hexagonal Tiles arranged in the shape of a hexagon. Opposing Veras start at opposite sides of the field and can move freely on it to fight.
As the game goes on, the field gradually shrinks, ****forcing Veras into close-quarters combat.
Draws can occur when both sides run out of standing Veras on the same turn, or if the turn timer runs out.

In the first half of every turn, players select (stage) the actions of all their Veras. Each Vera can perform one action, such as use an ability, move, use an item, or, if all else fails, skip their turn. After confirming the Vera action(s), the next phase will initiate.
