Getting Started in Valhalla: Comprehensive Guide

Welcome, brave Viking! Before you can embark on your adventures and tackle the exciting challenges of Valhalla, you need to create your character and learn the basics of the game. This guide will walk you through the entire process of getting started in Valhalla, from creating your account to taking your first steps on Floki Island.

Creating a Mainnet Account

Step 1: Setting Up Your Play Account

• Visit the Valhalla website (https://valhalla.game/play) to launch the game
• Make sure to select the Mainnet network.
• When prompted, create a password for your play account
• Important: Store your password securely as it cannot be retrieved or reset!

<aside> Your play account password is tied to your browser data. To prevent losing progress, it's strongly recommended to link your wallet after creating your account (see below).

Topping Up Your Play Account

When you first enter the game, Valhalla automatically creates a Play Account for you. You’ll need to fund it with a small amount of BNB. This small amount of BNB covers the gas fees needed for transactions in the game (it isn’t translated into in-game currency).

• Copy your play account's wallet address from the game Account interface
• Open MetaMask, click "Send", and paste the wallet address you copied
• Transfer at least 0.00001 BNB to your play account address and wait for the transaction to complete
• Return to the game and click "Refresh" to update your play account balance
• Once topped up, proceed to Link Your Account

Step 2: Linking Your Wallet (Recommended)

To secure your progress and access your characters across different devices:

• After creating your play account, choose the option to link your wallet
• Follow the prompts to connect your MetaMask or other compatible wallet
