Vikings are the player characters on Floki Island. Vikings are created through completing the introduction of the game which features character customization as well as a thematic Q&A with a mysterious seer Figure. The player controls their character - the Viking, in order to interact with the world of Valhalla. More info in Beginner’s Guide.
Once the player loads in the game for the first time, a play account is created for them locally in the browser. However, upon a browser/system reset, the account data will be lost. To avoid that, the player can bind the account to their wallet address. This way, each time the player logs in on a new/reset browser or device, they can link to the same wallet address associated to get access to all of their characters.
Certain attributes are shared between all characters in the wallet, such as the FLOKI tier which is used to enhance things like the Loot Reserve for example.

The player can generate a character by completing the character creation process. Based on the results of the conversation with the Seer and some randomization, the character’s traits are defined.

Chosen by the seer’s Q&A. Define the starting Vera of the character.
Background Traits
Chosen by the seer’s Q&A. Define the starting items of the character - potions, amulets and miscellaneous items/resources.
Players can communicate between each other via using character emotes and emojis. These can be chosen via the Emote Wheel and can be customized by player for easy access.

The player can equip certain items, such as Helmitars, on their character to activate the respective items’ effects.
Players can receive Viking Effects by trading-in Flokitars atThe Blacksmith. These effects provide fun twists to regular interactions and traversal.
