The main goal of Valhalla is to tame, trade, and train Veras to compete in the game’s turn-based battles.
Adjacent to that, players roam and explore, form Clans that fight bosses for glory, trade rare loot dropped from chests, and amass Runix and Onyx.

After getting introduced to the game in a short tutorial, Vikings are set free to explore the sandbox that is Floki Island and progress at their own pace.

In Floki Island, players search for Vera Encounters in which they can Tame new Veras with rare stats, higher levels, or other unique characteristics like Vera Rune patterns. Participating in these battles can earn players EXP for their Veras as well as Loot rewards. Similarly, players can queue to ranked or unranked PvP matches to for similar rewards or to climb the ranks.
Battles are played 1 player vs 1 player (PvP), or by 1 player vs AI (PvE). Both sides control up to 3 Veras, and every turn, for each Vera standing, players choose an action; They can move, use an ability, or use an item. The winner will be the one who is most prepared to maneuver cleverly, to take chances, and to out-predict the opposition in orderly chaos.

Lastly, Vikings may choose to complete daily quests or other fun activities throughout the island that often challenge them to utilize new Veras and strategies. Completing these challenges grants additional exclusive rewards.

In between battles, it’s common for Vikings in Valhalla to restock their item supplies in B’s Shop which is located in the Floating Hamlets. B is a savvy businessman and keeps tabs of people reputation in his shop to give better prices for repeated customers.
Vikings tend to also trade items they’ve collected through Loot Chests. The Blacksmith in Farmlands can help open those to claim their rewards.
